Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert finalized their divorce in July 2015, so the Brentwood, Tenn., mansion once shared by the country music stars — and reportedly retained by Lambert — was recently and unsurprisingly set out for sale, with an asking price a sliver shy of $2.6 million, as we first heard from the Bizzy Boys at Celebrity Address Aerial. (Online listings show the property pending sale with an unknown buyer at an unknown price.)
Located in a wealthy guard-gated community 20 miles south of downtown Nashville, the 0.88-acre spread was purchased by Lambert and Shelton in July 2013 — about two years after they hitched their wagons in matrimony, and almost exactly two years before they were divorced — for almost $2.26 million. At nearly 11,000 square feet, the mansion has five bedrooms and six full and two half bathrooms, including a sprawling master suite with an octagonal sitting room, a bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, a fireplace, a morning bar, and a super-sized bathroom.
A trio of French doors set into a columned portico lead to a double-height entrance gallery that steps up to a formal living room with high-gloss wood floors; a fireplace with a pilaster-bordered, mirrored mantel; and an impressively towering, triple-stacked wall of windows. Stone columns line the baronial formal dining room, while an impeccably paneled, double-height library is ringed by a second-floor gallery and warmed by a fireplace between inset bookcases.
A massive recreation space in the basement incorporates a billiard area, a full wet bar, a roomy lounge with a fireplace, and a home theater with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment and brown-leather recliner seats. The compact backyard, which backs up to a private golf course that’s hidden from view by a dense wall of trees and mature foliage, comfortably accommodates a T-shaped swimming pool and a generous dining terrace with a built-in grilling station.
Lambert splashed out $3.4 million in August 2015 for a picturesque, 400-plus-acre compound with several cozy and luxuriously appointed cottages near Primm Springs, Tennessee. Meanwhile, Shelton, now romantically linked to pop star Gwen Stefani, whose Beverly Hills estate is pocket-listed at $35 million, continues to own an approximately 1,200-acre country spread in rural Tishomingo, Okla. When on the West Coast, he shacks up in a Beverly Hills rental described in press reports as “barely furnished.”
