With groceries or a baby stroller, it’s bit of a hike up a tile-accented and wrought iron railed stairway from the gated street entrance to the front door that’s set in to a downright baronial faux-quoined arch and opens to a classic center hall entry. Milk chocolate hued hardwoods run throughout the majority of the main floor living spaces that include a step-down living room with fireplace and ornate plaster ceiling detail, a navy blue walled den/family room with original Batchelder fireplace and open shelves where Miz Geiger Schrift displays her trove of Emmy statuettes, and an ample dining room with wood-trimmed arched windows accented by decorative wrought iron window screens.
