Over the years, married entertainment industry veterans Tripp Vinson and Adriana Alberghetti have racked up some pretty impressive accomplishments. He’s a producer best known for films like “Baywatch,” “The Guardian,” “The Number 23,” “Red Dawn,” and “Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters,” and she’s a former mailroom employee who worked her way up to become a top WME talent agent. They even served as inspiration for a movie loosely based on Vinson’s wild and crazy Las Vegas bachelor party; maybe you’ve heard of it: “The Hangover.”
Now the husband-and-wife duo has parlayed their joint success into a Los Angeles residence. Records show they recently paid a speck over $5 million for trendy modern farmhouse-style digs in Studio City that were rebuilt from the ground up in 2017. The couple won the place in a bidding war, paying almost $40,000 over the asking price.
Resting on a nearly quarter-acre corner parcel of land, and protected by security cameras, the charcoal-hued and wood-sided structure features almost 6,000 square feet of open-plan living space adorned throughout with rustic hardwood floors and high ceilings, plus an indoor-outdoor Crestron/Sonos home-automation system and an attached two-car garage.
A walkway leads past the driveway and a manicured front lawn before emptying out at a small front porch. Once inside, a double-height foyer leads to a fireside living room on one side and formal dining room with an adjoining wine refrigerator on the other. In the rear, a family room displays a fireplace flanked by bookshelves and pocketing glass doors spilling out to a covered terrace warmed by a fireplace, while a gourmet kitchen is outfitted with dual islands, top-tier stainless appliances, a workstation and breakfast nook sporting a built-in banquette.
Other main-level highlights include a movie theater and guest bedroom with bath that’s currently being used as an office. Four additional ensuite bedrooms can be found upstairs, including an oversized master retreat offering a fireplace, seating area and walk-in closet. A luxe bath comes with dual vanities, a soaking tub and glass-encased shower, and there’s also a hallway workstation and bookshelf-lined den. Outdoors, the grassy backyard hosts a pool and spa, several spots ideal for al fresco lounging and entertaining, and a detached building accommodating a gym and recreation room.
