After almost two decades of ownership, it looks like veteran entertainment industry executive Jeremy Zimmer is ready to move on from his longtime home in L.A.’s exclusive Brentwood Park neighborhood. Though it briefly popped up for sale in March 2019 at $20 million before being delisted, records show the co-founder and CEO of United Talent Agency (UTA) is returning the traditional-style estate to the market once again, this time with a nearly $27 million ask.
Bought by Zimmer in 2003, the existing 1920s house on the site had been rebuilt from the ground up by noted architect Steve Giannetti, complete with six bedrooms and nine baths spread across almost 11,000 square feet of stylish living space rife with rich hardwood floors, wainscoted walls, coffered ceilings and artistic light fixtures.
Zimmer and his wife Marisa also own a prime ocean-view parcel in the sought-after Riviera neighborhood of Pacific Palisades that they paid $11 million for in late 2019. Soon after, permits were filed with the city of L.A. to raze the site’s existing structure and replace it with a brand-new mansion boasting more than 14,000 square feet of living space on two levels, plus an attached three-car garage.
As for the Zimmer’s Brentwood Park home, it rests on just under three-quarters of an acre, on a flat double lot protected by gates, walls and towering trees. A tiered walkway passes through the lushly landscaped yard before emptying out at a porte-cochère, with the front door opening into a double-height foyer topped by a skylight.
Other highlights include formal living and dining rooms, along with a spacious family room that connects to a gourmet kitchen outfitted with teal-hued cabinetry, an eat-in island and high-end stainless appliances. A combination dining area/sunroom sports floor-to-ceiling French doors flowing out to a covered al fresco dining and lounge terrace warmed by a fireplace, and elsewhere is a movie theater, gym and study.
Upstairs, a posh master suite offers a sitting area, custom walk-in closet and dual spa-like baths; and the amenities continue outdoors, where the expansive and rose-studded backyard hosts an entertaining area with a built-in grill and a fire-pit lounge space There’s also a sparkling pool and spa flanked by a sundeck on one side and fireside cabana on the other.
Rayni Williams and Branden Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates serve as the listing agents.
