
There are homes across Los Angeles that are well known, at least among the sorts of people who care about these things, to have repeatedly traded from one Hollywood heavy hitter to another potentate of the entertainment industry.
Just last month Johnny Galecki sold a gorgeous 1929 Spanish Revival-style home in the celeb-packed Outpost Estates area of the Hollywood Hills that had previously been owned by Jason Statham, Ben Stiller, and Lou Diamond Phillips.
Maybe it’s an inside scoop arranged between the stars’ people or maybe celebs just appreciate and seek out the same sorts of privacy, security and creature comforts that other famous folk gravitate toward.
Whatever the case, DIRT noticed that not only did that trend continue at a rapid rate in Los Angeles this year, but it also more and more frequently occurred in communities where rich and famous people gathered in the greater southern California area, particularly in Montecito, and, indeed, across the country.
