No cost-cutting here! Two years ago, Ryan Hudson paid nightlife magnate Karim Masri $15.2 million for this waterfront estate nestled on Miami Beach’s exclusive Venetian Islands, directly overlooking Biscayne Bay. Now the SoCal-based tech entrepreneur — who co-founded the coupon-clipping app Honey, acquired by PayPal in 2020 for $4 billion — is returning the glitzy architectural-style residence to the market with a hefty $25.5 million ask.
What does the new owner get for that substantially boosted price? For starters, a wealth of fancy amenities encompassing an elevator, office/study lounge, a high-tech movie theater and roof terrace boasting solar panels that power the entire property. There’s also an Ipe wood-clad dock with a boat lift, resting along 60 feet of waterfront footage.
Hidden away on a gated parcel spanning almost a quarter-acre, Hudson’s modern spread was built in 2018 and designed by noted local architect Max Strang. The four-bedroom, five-bath house contains just over 5,500 square feet of living space crafted by Studio ABM Design — all of it decked out with suede limestone walls, carrara marble, Philip Jeffries wall coverings, oak millwork and walls of glass for seamless indoor/outdoor environs.
Highlights include a spacious living/dining area sporting floor-to-ceiling glass doors flowing out to the backyard, plus a Poliform kitchen featuring an island with an attached breakfast bar, and top-tier American Range, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. A floating staircase heads upstairs, where the master retreat comes equipped with a seating area, walk-in closet and luxe bath spotlighted by a centrally located soaking tub.
Outdoors, you’ll find tropical-inspired grounds hosting a pool and spa flanked by a gazebo, built-in barbecue, and plenty of spots ideal for al fresco lounging and entertaining.
