The year 2021 has got Chicago-based entrepreneur Justyn Howard feeling flush, and it’s easy to see why. In less than a decade, his social media management firm — Sprout Social, founded 2010 — has gone from a humble startup to a publicly-traded, NASDAQ-listed tech juggernaut that’s still breaking growth records. On its December ’19 IPO date, the company debuted at a respectable $16.60 per share; today, Sprout Social stock has soared to more than $102 per share, for a total market cap of $5.5 billion. Over the past 12 months alone, the firm’s net worth has more than tripled.
That success has got Howard himself breaking records. The 40-year-old California native and his longtime wife Elizabeth have paid exactly $30 million for what is perhaps the glitziest, most glam mansion in all of Calabasas. Not only is that the most ever paid for a San Fernando Valley home, it’s also double the previous Calabasas record, which was set only last year by Khloe Kardashian.
Howard is developing a habit of paying top dollar for choice real estate. Barely a year ago, in July 2020, he dropped nearly $20 million to buy a 12.8-acre estate set into the foothills of Malibu, with endless whitewater views. That contemporary mansion has nearly 10,000 square feet of living space, but the new Calabasas monster is more than double that, with 22,000 square feet under roof — per the listing.
Built in 2020 and initially offered at an astronomical $38 million, the palatial house is located in the guard-gated Estates at the Oaks enclave and was developed by investors and development partners Jonathan Menlo and Meir Siboni of Elite IMG, who hired Palumbo Design‘s Mike Palumbo to craft the home’s bespoke interior design. Inside, there are three full levels of living space, all of them aggressively contemporary and clearly designed to impress friends, staff members and the in-laws. Muted grey wall paint throughout serves as the ultimate backdrop for colorful art and furnishings, which include custom pieces from high-end Italian brands like Minotti, Fendi Casa and B&B Italia.

Image Credit: The Luxury Level The list of amenities is practically endless but some of the home’s highlights include no fewer than five wet bars — a living room bar, basement-level “party bar,” outdoor cabana pool bar, a “gym protein shake bar,” kitchen area wine bar and a master bedroom coffee bar. Let’s hope the Howards are thirsty.

Outside, the nearly two-acre lot has long views over the surrounding hills toward Malibu, and a gorgeous infinity-edged pool. Elsewhere are a fully detached guesthouse, putting green, sunken firepit lounge, numerous al fresco dining patios and even a so-called yoga area.
