The 7,000-square-foot Miami condo that silver-spooned former White House advisors Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are leasing is scheduled to be put up for sale next year, asking $18.8 million. Trump and Kushner have been renting the super-luxe penthouse, in the super-luxe Arte building in the Surfside area, since Pops lost to Joe Biden back in early 2021. Sadly for looky-loos, interior photos are scarce at this time; there is but one image of the very impressive view from their beachfront aerie. Dina Goldentayer and Miltiadis Kastanis of Douglas Elliman are representing the listing.
Designed by Italian architect Antonio Citterio in the shape of a pyramid, Arte contains just 16 units. Given their bank accounts and pampered upbringing, it comes as no surprise the Trump-Kushners have been enjoying a building with many five-star resort-like amenities, for which marketing photos are abundant. On-site niceties include a wellness center with a sauna, steam room, gym, and dedicated yoga studio; a children’s playroom; a lounge with catering kitchen; a tennis court — it’s actually located on the rooftop of an adjacent building; a 75’ indoor pool with onyx accents (can’t have the ex-president’s favorite slumming it with lesser stones!) as well as an outdoor pool. There’s even a serene “meditation pond.” It’s huge, with a floor covered in flat, black river rocks and a wooden pergola set on a floating deck.
The rented pad, Residence 201, is the last remaining sponsor unit available at Arte. The six-bedroom, seven-and-a-half bath condo — one of the bedrooms is a staff suite off the laundry room — features almost 1,500 square feet of private outdoor space with sweeping ocean, beach and coastline views. Guest and family bedrooms on the upper floor are separated from the primary suite by a huge great room and gourmet kitchen. Downstairs, there’s a huge kitchenette and a vast entertaining space. The primary bedroom and its massive bath, as well as the lower-level entertainment room, spill out to ocean-facing terraces. A private stairway behind the lower-level kitchenette provides convenient access to the beach.
Where shall the Trump-Kushners lay their heads in future? The family was supposed to be building a home on the 1.84-acre plot of land on Indian Creek Island (aka the Billionaire Bunker) they bought from Julio Iglesias for $31.8 million. Other reports have them fixing up another house on the island where they’ll reside when they vacate Arte.
