“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” has a new cast member, allegedly, and her name is Diana Jenkins. The 48-year-old Bosnia native was spotted filming for the show last week, alongside longtime “RHOBH” stalwarts Lisa Rinna and Dorit Kemsley. (For the record, Bravo has yet to formally confirm or deny Jenkins’ rumored addition to the cast.)
But like many of the other women on Bravo’s hit TV show, Jenkins isn’t actually a housewife. Nor does she live in Beverly Hills, for that matter. The divorcée previously long resided in Malibu before selling her $87 million home, earlier this year, to her next door neighbor. And the longtime socialite — who’s previously been quoted as saying “Money is a wonderful thing. I love to earn it, and I love to spend it,” — has since dropped $13 million on a smaller estate in the guard-gated Hidden Hills community, deep in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley.
Born Sanela Diana Jenkins in Bosnia, she emigrated to London in the 1990s following the Bosnian war. In the mid-2000s, Jenkins moved from London to California, where she’s remained ever since; in California, she notably founded Neuro, a popular energy drinks company. But the bulk of her wealth comes from her marriage to famed English financier Roger “Big Dog” Jenkins, who was at one time the highest-paid banker in all of Britain. The couple divorced in 2012 and Diana was awarded full ownership of the couple’s Malibu estate atop gorgeous Paradise Cove.
Today, Jenkins is a divorced mom with two teenage children. She also shares a toddler daughter with her much younger boyfriend, 33-year-old aspiring musician Asher Monroe.
As for those new Hidden Hills digs, the 13,000-square-foot mansion is located at the very end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the prestigious Ashley Ridge section of Hidden Hills. With seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, the house was built on speculation in 2019 and sold the following year for $10.8 million to Shalini Gupta, a Harvard-educated dermatologist from Ohio, who almost immediately put the house back up for sale. Along came Jenkins, who paid $13 million in an all-cash transfer — a $2.2 million profit for Gupta before taxes, carrying costs and realtor commissions.
The charcoal-colored structure boasts a double-height foyer, a so-called “floating” staircase and chevron-patterned oak floors throughout. A great room links up with the gourmet kitchen, which boasts two stone islands and top-of-the-line appliances. There’s also a study/library with built-in bookshelves, plus a temperature-controlled wine closet, wet bar, soundproof movie theater, gym and a state-of-the-art security system, per the listing. Upstairs, the primary suite has dual bathrooms and dual closets, and there are six additional ensuite bedrooms for guests, family members and/or live-in staff.
Sweeping views take in the surrounding hills, and the dark-bottomed swimming pool out back is infinity-edged for maximum visual drama. Jenkins’ new home also lies directly across the street from the $9.5 million main residence of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, and it’s also right next door to a huge mansion owned by disgraced Nickelodeon exec Dan Schneider. Other folks within sugar-borrowing distance include Jeffree Star, Darkchild, and the side-by-side homes of Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner.
Josh and Matt Altman of The Altman Brothers Team at Douglas Elliman held the Hidden Hills listing; Tyrone McKillen and Sandeep Dhariwal of Compass repped the buyer.
