One might say Kim Kardashian is cleaning house! Just days after tossing her downtown Calabasas condo onto the market, the reality TV superstar-turned-billionaire e-commerce mogul has decided to sell another one of her many property holdings. A ranch house near her swank Hidden Hills mansion has now popped up for sale, asking $5.3 million.
Purchased by Kardashian for just $1.6 million in October 2019, back when she was still married to rapper, record producer and fashion designer Kanye West, the fixer upper was built back in the late 1950s and appears to have been left largely untouched during her relatively short ownership.
The property rests on an approximately 1.5-acre hillside parcel oddly bisected by a street that’s open to members of the public, or at least members of the public that have been admitted into guard-gated Hidden Hills. Overlooking state-owned parkland that once housed the Ahmanson Ranch, the parcel includes a main residence with four bedrooms and four baths in nearly 4,000 square feet of single-level living space. Across the street from that house are equestrian facilities encompassing a four-stall barn, corral, and storage space for feed and equipment.
For now, the current listing does not include any interior photos of the main house. But older listings show the white wood-shingled structure includes a kitchen accented by a center island, granite countertops, stainless appliances and a breakfast nook, plus an adjoining family room displaying hardwood floors, a high vaulted wood-beam ceiling, picture windows and a two-way brick fireplace that stretches to the ceiling.
Elsewhere is a dining room, large bonus room and an office space, as well as a fireside master retreat boasting a separate lounge area. Outdoors, the fenced backyard holds a lagoon-style pool and spa with a water feature, along with a covered patio sporting a built-in barbecue and the equestrian facilities. Rounding it all out: an attached four-car garage flanked by a spacious motorcourt.
In addition to this property and her Brutalist-inspired Calabasas condo — which appeared on several episodes of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” and was used as an office for KKW Beauty and her shapewear line SKIMS — Kardashian continues to own and occupy her aforementioned Hidden Hills compound. She also lays claim to a big vacant lot in La Quinta’s Madison Club, where several of her family members also own vacation homes.
