“Everybody wants a happy ending, right?” asks Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) at the close of “Avengers: Endgame.” Though the 2019 film doesn’t exactly give audiences one, the finale did bring together virtually every superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as the legendary actors who play them. Reading like a Who’s Who of Hollywood, the lineup of stars who gathered to shoot the iconic end sequence includes Michael Douglas, Chris Pratt, Jon Favreau, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Gwyneth Paltrow, Samuel L. Jackson and Mark Ruffalo, among many others. And no, the assemblage of A-Listers was not accomplished via CGI. The gathering took place IRL outside of a small cabin in Chattahoochee Hills, Ga., about 25 miles northeast of Atlanta.
With such an incredible roster of celebs, the filming even proved overwhelming for those involved! Of the landmark event, producer Kevin Feige stated, “They were all there on that front yard of that cabin and it was amazing. It was emotional for all of us. You had things like Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man, coming up to me and going, ‘Is that Michelle Pfeiffer over there? Is she in this?’ because we hadn’t released ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ yet.’”
And now fans can walk in the fabled cast’s revered footsteps as the bucolic house where the poignant segment was lensed has hit the vacation rental market via Airbnb. Located on the grounds of a massive 8,000-acre equestrian ranch known as Bouckaert Farm, the rustic residence is currently available for a cool $800 a night. And the reviews are stellar, with many a guest commenting “You’ll love this place 3000!”
The allure is understandable. Marvel connection notwithstanding, the pad has quite a lot to offer. Nestled aside a picturesque lake in a setting definitely befitting a superhero, the two-story property features three bedrooms and three baths and can accommodate a total of six guests. Amenities include a working fireplace, air conditioning and a washer and dryer, as well as both a Keurig and a Nespresso machine, so as to ensure no coffee grounds get put down the disposal! The TV is also equipped with Disney+ which means that guests can partake of an “Endgame” viewing at the very location where it was lensed!

Best of all, rental of the cabin also affords use of the adjacent lake for fishing, tubing and swimming activities, as well as access to the massive Bouckaert Farm grounds, which have been the site of multiple Marvel shoots. The ”Wakandan” fields from both “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Black Panther” and the S.W.O.R.D. base from “WandaVision” can also be found on the premises.
The property, which mainly operates as a special events/music festival venue, is actually a frequent filming location. Its stunning vistas, comprised of hills, pastures, woods, trails, farmhouses, six lakes and an incredible 10 miles of Chattahoochee River frontage, have served as the backdrop for a plethora of productions outside of the Marvel Universe such as the 2017 “Dynasty” reboot, 2019’s “Godzilla: King of the Monsters,” as well as “Stranger Things” and “MacGyver” according to one Airbnb guest.
The locale, which is also referred to as Chattahoochee Hills Eventing at Bouckaert Farm, is the brainchild of Olympic equestrian Carl Bouckaert, a Belgium transplant who initially purchased a small plot of land on the site in 1988 and then proceeded to buy up multiple adjoining lots throughout the years that followed. Today, the property is a massive enclave that, along with the aforementioned amenities, features countless equestrian facilities including a competition stable, 240 horse stalls, a boarding stable and a cross country track. As such, it plays host to numerous riding events each year.
Big plans are currently on the horizon for the farm. The facility will soon be entering into a new phase as a mixed-use commercial/residential community complete with a resort. As Carl recently told The Atlantan, “We came up with an interesting vision for what we want Chattahoochee Hills to be – a destination of live, work, play with lots of green space rather than just more urban sprawl.” Former Walt Disney Imagineering Vice President of Community Development Charles Adams is behind the project, giving the site yet another Disney connection. (The Walt Disney Company famously acquired Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion in 2009.)
The Atlantan notes, “What’s certain is that the future of the farm involves preserving its rural heritage while sharing it with as many people as possible,” which is likely music to the ears of most Marvel enthusiasts. But with prospective home lots varying in size from 10 to 100 acres, it seems that quite a bit of the land will be repurposed in the redevelopment and there’s no word on whether or not the “Avengers: Endgame” cabin will remain intact. If it does wind up a casualty of the transition, it may just take a Time Heist to resurrect it!

Image Credit: Airbnb It is at the secluded property that Tony and his wife, Pepper Potts (Paltrow), retreat after the disastrous events of The Blip in order to raise their daughter, Morgan (Lexi Rabe), in the film. And it is also there that the surviving Avengers gather to (spoiler!) bid their final adieu to the fallen billionaire superhero in the movie’s somber ending.

Interiors were instead filmed on a soundstage-built set created by production designer Charles Wood and set decorator Leslie Pope at Trilith Studios (formerly Pinewood Atlanta Studios).

The onscreen pad does seem to have taken at least a few cues from its real-life counterpart, though, including a rock fireplace serving as the focal point of the living room and sloped bedroom ceilings.

Though the photos of the Stark cabin featured on Airbnb are few and not the best quality-wise, that hasn’t deterred fans from reserving stays. The place is currently booked up through December!
