Though Kane Lim lives primarily in a luxe West Hollywood apartment — where his living room has been converted into a showroom for his pricey Christian Louboutin sneaker collection — the Asia-born “Bling Empire” star also owns other Los Angeles properties. Here’s a particularly stylish one: this house in the Mount Washington neighborhood that just hit the market, asking a smidge under $1.9 million.
Listed by fellow Netflix reality TV star Chrishell Stause of “Selling Sunset” and Yonathan Baltazar of The Agency, Lim’s midcentury modern offering was built back in the 1950s but has since been “fully reimagined” by Lim in collaboration with L.A.-based OWIU, and features 1,516 square feet of “Japanese/Scandinavian-inspired” living space with light oak hardwood floors, wood-beam ceilings and clerestory windows. There’s also a so-called “Japanese backyard” offering mountain views.
Other highlights include a living room adorned with the original brick fireplace, and an adjacent kitchen — the perfect place to gossip, says Lim in a recent Instagram video — which is outfitted with a tiled and marble-topped island, Brizo fixtures, matte-black LG smart appliances and a dining area. Both spaces open to a patio via large glass sliders.
Three bedrooms include the primary suite, complete with custom built-in wardrobes, a bed platform, private deck and bath with dual vanities. Outdoors, the newly landscaped grounds span almost a quarter-acre and include a manicured garden dotted with bonsai and maple trees. A lower yard holds a built-in bench wrapped around a fire-pit, and rounding it all out is an attached two-car garage out front.
Lim, 32, toils as a property developer/investor, and his Singapore-based family reportedly made their fortune in real estate and shipping. In addition to starring in “Bling Empire,” he recently appeared in the Netflix Christmas movie, “A California Christmas: City Lights,” as well as a “Bling Empire” vs. “Selling Sunset” episode of “Celebrity Family Feud.”
