Will it be a successful flip, or a hard flop? After filing for divorce this past November following less than two years of marriage, HGTV celeb Christina Haack (formerly Anstead) has opted to sell the Orange County manse she shared with “Wheeler Dealers” host Ant Anstead. The “Christina on the Coast” and “Flip or Flop” star originally paid $4.1 million in 2018 for the home, significantly under the current $6 million ask; per property records, the place is owned solely in her name.
Tucked away on Santiago Drive — in the highly desirable Santa Ana Heights area of Newport Beach, near Back Bay Nature Preserve, Newport Harbor, Lido Isle and local beaches — the Hamptons-style home was built in 1999 and has since been updated by Anstead, per TMZ, with some of the renovations she made featured on her show, “Christina on the Coast.”
Coming in at more than 4,000 square feet, the bohemian modern farmhouse-inspired living space is highlighted by rich herringbone and wide-plank wood flooring, industrial-style windows, white exposed timbers and wood finishes throughout. Accessed via a gated motor court lined with palm trees, the white home with black accents is fronted by a covered patio hosting a duo of swinging chairs on one side, and a three-car garage with glass doors on the other.
A massive wooden door opens to reveal a towering 20-foot entry foyer crowned by a custom chandelier. Once inside, the open floor plan showcases a sizable living room boasting a decorative fireplace and wet bar; dining area flanked by a metal-and-glass-encased wine rack with room for around 180 bottles; and professional chef’s kitchen boasting high-end appliances, a massive marble-topped island with breakfast bar and walk-in pantry.
The property’s five bedrooms, meanwhile, include a decked-out master retreat outfitted with 20-foot ceilings, a dangling artistic chandelier, double-story windows, a fireplace, large walk-in closet, an attached studio space, and a luxe bath sporting a soaking tub, dual vanities, a double rain shower and steam room.
