Now that he’s moved into a $15 million Encino mansion he bought from Joe Jonas last year, Anton Zaslavski — better known to millions of electronic music fans as Zedd — is doubling down on his efforts to unload the contemporary Benedict Canyon home he’s owned since 2018. After nine months on the market with no takers, the Russian-German DJ/record producer has relisted his swanky spec mansion in the mountains high above Beverly Hills with a new team of realtors for a smidge under $23 million — or $3.5 million less than he was originally asking for the place last summer.
Zedd acquired the two-story residence, resting beyond gates at the end of a secluded private cul-de-sac just below Mulholland Drive, for $16 million a little over four years ago, shortly after construction was completed. He then added his own custom touches and upgrades to the modern structure, which features five bedrooms and nine baths in 11,000 square feet of open-concept living space adorned with walls of glass offering sweeping ocean and mountain views. Glitzy amenities include a custom-designed soundproof movie theater with a 4K laser projector, billiard room and an indoor-outdoor gym.
Among the highlights: an atrium outfitted with a large water feature, which steps down into a great room sporting soaring ceilings. A fireside living room connects to a sleekly designed eat-in kitchen outfitted with a duo of built-in Korean barbecue charcoal grills and high-end appliances. There’s also a prep kitchen/pantry, which leads to brick-walled dining room decked out with a designer light fixture dangling from a wood-plank ceiling.
The creature comforts continue upstairs, where a sumptuous master retreat spans the entire second floor and comes complete with a spacious terrace, an eye-catching linear brick fireplace and two walk-in closets. A luxe bath is equipped with dual vanities, a soaking tub and steam shower. Four additional guest suites can be found downstairs, three of which open to the pool area.
As for the picturesque grounds, they span just over three acres and hold a conversation area with fire-pit, an outdoor kitchen flanked by an al fresco dining area, an infinity-edge pool and spa, and an expansive roof deck. There’s also a four-car garage and plenty of off-street parking for at least a dozen vehicles.
One of the richest DJs in the world, with an estimated net worth of $45 million, the Grammy-winning entertainer has collaborated with the likes of Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Alessia Cara, Shawn Mendes, and most recently, Disclosure and Martin Garrix. The 32-year-old also keeps up a rigorous touring schedule, with his one-day “Zedd in the Park” show set to return to the L.A. Historic Park July 8.
