It was five years ago that Anton Zaslavski, better known to millions of electronic music fans as Zedd, paid $16 million for this freshly built spec mansion in the mountains high above Beverly Hills. Now the Russian-born German DJ is returning the contemporary house to the market, this time with a whopping $26.5 million ask. That much-increased price factors in snazzy new amenities — a custom-designed soundproof movie theater and an almost-finished recording studio, for starters. There’s also a guard shack outside the front gate, perfect for a full-time security detail.
Though he’s already the 18th richest DJ in the world with an estimated net worth of $45 million, the Grammy-winning wunderkind is busier than ever. In recent years, Zedd’s collaborated with the likes of Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Alessia Cara and Shawn Mendes, and the 31-year-old also keeps up a rigorous touring schedule. In fact, he recently was tapped to headline Las Vegas’ new Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub this summer, with his residency running through 2023.
Tucked away on a 3.2-acre parcel of land just below Mulholland Drive — atop a promontory at the end of a secluded private cul-de-sac — Zedd’s modern extravaganza was built in 2016, and features breathtaking ocean and mountain vistas. A lengthy gated driveway crosses a moat before ending at the five-bedroom, nine-bathroom main house, which contains 11,000 square feet of snazzy living space rife with high ceilings, walls of glass and seamless indoor/outdoor living.
