Drake Pays $75 Million for Robbie Williams’ Posh Beverly Hills Estate

For weeks now, it’s been widely rumored that music superstar Aubrey “Drake” Graham recently took a shine to Robbie Williams’ huge home in the mountains above Beverly Hills, but records only now indeed confirm that the Canadian “Hotline Bling” rapper officially bought the British “Angels” crooner’s Benedict Canyon property this week.

After being shopped around to financially qualified buyers with an $85 million asking price, records show the big spread transferred for exactly $75 million. Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency served as the listing agent, with the buyer repped by Marc Bretter of Maywood Property Group, though neither broker could be reached for comment.

Despite the discount, that sales price is still a nifty profit for Williams, who acquired the Tuscan-style estate from Guess cofounder Armand Marciano back in 2015 for “just” $32.7 million. Current details and photos of the property are scarce, but tax records show the existing stucco and terracotta-roof structure was originally built in 2001 and fashioned by KAA Design Group, and offers a whopping 24,000-plus square feet of contemporary living space on two levels.

It’s believed that Williams and his wife Ayda Field recently gave the home’s previously Mediterranean-themed and very beige interiors a crisply contemporary makeover, complete with lots of white paint, elegant new lighting fixtures and acres of marble.

Set behind a lengthy private driveway on 20+ acres in the 90210 — making it one of the biggest estates in prime L.A., though less than half of that land is flat and actually usable — the elegant home boasts manicured front gardens, a brick motorcourt and an 11-car garage. Inside, large-scale rooms prime for entertaining overlook gardens and grounds offering picturesque canyon and city lights views, and glitzy amenities include an elevator, wine cellar, gym and game room.

According to dated listings, the main house includes seven bedrooms and 13 baths, plus a separate staff wing with three ensuite staff bedrooms and a staff kitchen. Also on tap are vast formal living and dining rooms, a gourmet kitchen sporting a breakfast nook and library, and a pair of family rooms, one of which does double-duty as a movie theater; outdoors, the palatial grounds include a guesthouse, mosaic-tiled pool, an indoor-outdoor kitchen and a “hidden” tennis court.

Unsurprisingly, Drake has decided to sell his previous L.A. digs — a contiguous trio of properties in guard-gated Hidden Hills, hoisting them onto the market simultaneously with a total price tag topping $22 million. He also still owns a very custom, 50,000-square-foot mega-mansion in Toronto’s affluent Bridle Path neighborhood.

Williams, meanwhile, is reportedly moving on up to a posh rental mansion in the guard-gated Beverly Park community. He and Field also once owned a lavish Malibu vacation home, though the couple sold that place in 2019 for $28 million to Aaron Rodgers.
