Chris Comstock, better known to millions of EDM fans simply as Marshmello, is on his way to becoming a real estate mogul. The 30-year-old DJ already owns a nearly $11 million mansion above Beverly Hills and a $5 million home near West Hollywood, but now he’s doubled his holdings, acquiring two more impressive Los Angeles properties.
Records show both of Marshmello’s recent acquisitions actually closed last year. And both houses lie in Studio City, the bustling San Fernando Valley neighborhood famed for its family-friendly nature and for its close proximity to Universal Studios, innumerable production offices and various other industry checkpoints. Unsurprisingly, Studio City has long been popular with celebrities, and one of Marshmello’s area homes was sold to him by actor Zach Woods, the actor best known for portraying Gabe on “The Office.”
Woods bought his Studio City digs back in 2020, paying $1.7 million, and flipped them two year later to Marshmello at $2.3 million. Behind a charming gate and overgrown hedges, the property features a lavender and wisteria-filled front yard with two separate patios, both with ample space for lounging. There’s also a covered pergola for formal al fresco dining and entertaining.
Described as a “French Provincial sanctuary” in the listing, the charming bungalow offers three bedrooms and 2.5 baths in 2,000 square feet. The 1946 structure also flaunts wide-plank hardwood floors, original windows and vaulted beamed ceilings throughout, plus a contemporary kitchen with bespoke Italian cabinetry and direct access to the sunny backyard. Out back, a patio adorned with potted plants surrounds the swimming pool.
Woods, 39, has moved on to an equally charming Craftsman bungalow in Echo Park. Meanwhile, Marshmello remains living at his 90210 mansion; both Studio City home purchases were reportedly for various extended family members. A generous gesture, to be sure, but highly doable considering the music phenomenon once earned $56 million in a single year — per Forbes.

Clean-lined and unmistakably contemporary — and built new from the ground up in 2018 — the $3.3 million house includes four bedrooms, a massive kitchen, AstroTurf lawns and a backyard plunge pool.
