Jeremy Iovine, probably best known as the younger son and third child of music industry mogul Jimmy Iovine and author Vicki Iovine, recently picked up the keys to trendy modern farmhouse-style digs in the increasingly pricey Mar Vista neighborhood, on the Westside of Los Angeles.
Records reveal the transfer went down while the house was still under construction, with the Rosewood Creative partner, 31, having paid the exact $3.6 million asking price for his stylish new residence.
The white stucco and wood structure is tucked away behind gates, and has four bedrooms and five baths in just over 3,400 square feet of two-level living space adorned throughout with rustic white oak floors and high ceilings, many of them accoutered with wood paneling and beams. There’s also an attached two-car garage out front.
Highlights include a soaring entry foyer displaying a curving staircase, which flows to a spacious family room spotlighted by a linear fireplace flanked by oak bookcases and an accompanying wine display. An adjacent gourmet kitchen is outfitted with all-white cabinetry, a fancy backsplash, an eat-in island and high-end stainless appliances, and connects via a butler’s pantry to a formal dining room that seats up to six.
Elsewhere in the house is a dedicated office space and laundry room sporting bright green cabinetry, plus a shiplap-accented master retreat holding a fireplace notched into a wood-slat wall, private balcony and walk-in closet with built-ins. A luxe bath is equipped with dual vanities, a spa tub and large glass-encased shower; and though there’s no pool to be had outdoors, the fully hedged and turf-clad backyard does host an open-air cabana, barbecue and bar setup, and covered lounge area warmed by a cozy fireplace.
The Iovine family is a fan of pricey real estate; three years ago, Jeremy’s older brother Jamie bought a multimillion-dollar home in L.A.’s Beverly Grove neighborhood. And patriarch Jimmy Iovine has long maintained a sumptuous estate in Holmby Hills, a $60 million vacation property in Malibu and a multimillion-dollar home in Westwood believed to have been purchased as a gift for his sister.
