Offset Gifts Cardi B Dominican Republic House for Her Birthday

When it comes to over-the-top birthday presents, Offset literally leaves no stone unturned. The bling-loving Migos rapper has already gifted his wife Cardi B “the biggest diamonds you could get” — a titanic heart-shaped affair and matching band worth an estimated $1 million or so, to be exact — followed by a pricey new Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV, which starts at $330,000. What’s left? Well, now the Grammy-winning singer has a posh vacation villa in the Caribbean to accompany all that aforementioned flash.

As first reported by the New York Post, Offset surprised Cardi B with a $1.5 million investment property in the Dominican Republic to commemorate her 29th trip around the sun. And, per a recent post on the “Bodak Yellow” singer’s Instagram feed, the West Indies rental place has been a long time coming: “For a hot minute now I’ve been telling [Offset] that I really want to invest in short term home rental properties in the DR and other Caribbean countries … but I felt like he didn’t agree with me and would rather put money into other investments. Well, I was wrong.”

Nestled on a 4-acre hillside parcel near the beach, in a guard-gated community in the northeastern resort town of Las Terrenas, the four-level structure comes with six bedrooms and an equal number of baths spread across 7,000 square feet of contemporary living space. There’s also a separate one-bedroom, one-bath studio sporting a kitchen and living room, along with two pools — an infinity one with built-in chaise lounges atop the roof, and a smaller lap version just off one of the bedrooms. Copious balconies and walls of windows also frame jaw-dropping tropical and ocean vistas.

Built using a combination of wood, stone, rusted steel and raw concrete, the home is currently available on Airbnb for $836 a night. Amenities include an Italian kitchen outfitted with a wine fridge, an eat-in island and an adjacent dining room, as well as a gym, private garden and covered al fresco dining area with a grill. Homeowners also are privy to community perks, including a trio of tennis courts, helipad, two pools, golf cart service and private beach access. Best of all, you can brag to all your friends about having Cardi B as your landlord.
