After shopping her sprawling Calabasas mansion around for $12 million, Britney Spears has officially offloaded the unwanted residence for a speck over $10 million. And though that’s a large sum of money by any measure, the amount is also a whopping $1.7 million less than she paid for the place just eight months ago, back in summer 2022.
Nestled on a 1.6-acre parcel, within the double-gated Estates at the Oaks neighborhood, the beige-hued stucco and terracotta-roof structure was built in 2008. Inside, seven bedrooms and nine baths are filtered across a little more than 11,600 square feet of single-level living space boasting imported onyx, hardwood and stone floors, vaulted ceilings, wide arched hallways, bespoke chandeliers, Ann Sacks mosaic tile designs and hand-carved fireplaces.
Towering custom steel entry doors open into a 33-foot foyer clad in Cantera stone; and glitzy amenities include a wine cellar, 10-seat movie theater with Dolby surround sound, wet bar-equipped lounge and room dedicated solely to gift wrapping, plus a detached one-bedroom guesthouse and five-car garage.
Among the other highlights: a fireside living room and formal dining room, along with a wood-paneled study. There’s also a gourmet kitchen decked out with a massive center island, high-end stainless appliances and a breakfast nook, which adjoins a family room that has floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening directly to a 2,000-square-foot patio hosting a fireplace and barbecue station.
A wealth of bedrooms can be found throughout the house, including a plush master retreat adorned with a fireplace, seating area, terrace, an exercise room, dual walk-in closets sporting walnut and alder wood cabinetry, and a marble bath with a soaking tub and steam shower; and outdoors the resort-like grounds are spotlighted by a 55-foot pool and spa with a waterslide and tiered waterfalls.
Records indicate the discount-minded buyer is Ezekiel Tyson Jr., a Dallas-based personal injury attorney and veteran real estate investor.
In addition to her just-sold Calabasas home, the “Toxic” crooner and her husband Sam Asghari still maintain her longtime Italianate-inspired mansion in the unincorporated Hidden Valley region near Thousand Oaks, which Spears bought back in 2015.
