What market slowdown? Only a month after putting his sumptuous Los Angeles estate up for sale, UTA’s CEO Jeremy Zimmer has already sold it for $26.9 million, the full asking price.
Zimmer bought the home nearly two decades ago, way back in 2004. At that time, the existing 1920s house had been taken down to the studs and freshly rebuilt by architect Steve Giannetti; in its current iteration, the East Coast traditional-style mansion offers six bedrooms and nine bathrooms spread across nearly 11,000 square feet of interior space.
Records indicate the spendy new owners are Sofia Richie and her fiancée Elliot Grainge, who recently sold their Bauhaus-inspired Beverly Hills home for nearly $22 million, or about $5 million more than they paid for the place barely one year ago.
The couple’s new home is sited in Brentwood Park, one of L.A.’s most expensive neighborhoods, and sprawls across a rare double lot that dwarfs most of its neighbors. The street-to-street property offers a “main” front entrance protected by gates, high hedges and towering trees, plus a discreet “back” entrance more suitable for staff or vendors. Out front, a wide walkway leads past grassy lawns to the house, which is partially covered by thick, flowering vines.
Inside, lustrous hardwood floors stained a deep brown are contrasted by white wainscoted walls and cream-colored area rugs. Zimmer’s somewhat eclectic art collection also provided the place with bright pops of color, and the double-height foyer is topped by a skylight, filtering in ample natural light.

Upstairs, the primary suite sports a bedroom with a sitting area and fireplace, plus dual bathrooms and dressing rooms. Also on the premises are a movie theater, fitness center and French doors that open to an outdoor living room with a fireplace; naturally, the property is also equipped with a state-of-the-art security system.
But the estate’s grounds are arguably the star of this real estate show. In the backyard, the vast lawns alone probably cost a small fortune to maintain. There are formal rose gardens, dozens of mature specimen trees, an entertainment center with a BBQ grill and a built-in banquette that wraps around a fire-pit. Near the property’s rear lies a swimming pool flanked by a cabana and an open-air sundeck. In all, the two-parcel property spans nearly three-quarters of an acre, large for this part of town.
Richie, 23, is the youngest child of Lionel Richie, though her bygone relationship with “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Scott Disick is perhaps what made her a bonafide celebrity. In recent years, she’s become one of social media’s most marketable influencers, scoring lucrative brand deals with Coca-Cola, Adidas, Michael Kors and many more.
Grainge, 29, is the eldest child of Lucian Grainge, the longtime CEO of Universal Music Group and reportedly the most powerful man in the music industry. Born and raised in England, the younger Grainge is also founder of indie record label 10K Projects.
As of now, no word yet about where the Zimmers are moving. But they still own an under-construction estate in nearby Pacific Palisades, though that house doesn’t appear to be anywhere near complete.
Branden and Rayni Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates held the listing; David Findley of The Agency and Drew Fenton of Hilton & Hyland jointly repped the buyers.
