Presley Gerber, the 23-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, is officially all grown up. Records indicate the male model has bought his very first Los Angeles house, a low-slung midcentury structure tucked into the verdant Nichols Canyon pocket of the Hollywood Hills.
Built in 1955 but extensively updated in recent years, the house sits privately behind huge driveway gates and tall trees. Inside, beyond a front motorcourt and native plantings, there are hardwood floors, open living spaces and glass sliding doors throughout the home. Blindingly white walls provide ample space for art, and the main combo living/dining area wraps itself around a wood-burning fireplace.
An updated eat-in kitchen sports mid-range stainless appliances and a notably petite island; elsewhere lies a cozy family room space and large closets for storage. The main house offers three bedrooms, including a master suite with a walk-in closet and a bathroom offering a soaking tub and granite countertops. The two smaller guest bedrooms share a single bathroom.
All three bedrooms also sport direct access to the backyard, which offers a heptagonal plunge pool surrounded by a narrow concrete patio. Towering privacy hedges and various other dense plantings ensure celebrity-style privacy for sunbathers, and there are various other side gardens and intimate seating areas scattered around the home’s perimeter.
Also on the premises, attached to the main house but with its own private entrance, is a one-bed, one-bath guesthouse with a full kitchen and laundry facilities — ideal for rental income, or perhaps for a live-in housekeeper or bodyguard.
Gerber, who was raised in Malibu, is perhaps best known for getting a controversial face tattoo, which he recently removed. Over the last few years, he’s modeled for the likes of Celine, Calvin Klein, Omega watches and Burberry.
