Could it have been hubbub surrounding the recent Hulu series about their mom and dad’s infamous sex tape that first attracted a buyer? Or was it that the place was featured in an MTV reality show? Or both? Or neither?
We may never know, but TMZ has reported that someone liked the Malibu home of Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger Lee so much they’ve snapped it up for exactly $3 million, netting the siblings a cool $1 million more than they paid for the place, back in 2018.
Still best known as the sons of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee and his ex-wife Pamela Anderson of “Baywatch” fame, 25-year-old Brandon and Dylan, 24, have managed to carve out successful careers of their own — the former as a model and reality TV personality on “The Hills: New Beginnings,” and the latter as a model and musician in the band Motel 7.
Tucked away on a heavily wooded hillside parcel that spans nearly an acre, just a short jaunt away from Las Flores Beach, the boxy contemporary structure was originally built in 1979. It’s since undergone a complete renovation; inside, five bedrooms and an equal number of baths are spread across more than 2,600 square feet of light-filled living space featuring new systems, finishes and fixtures.
Highlights of the two-story residence include a combo living/dining room adorned with a fireplace, which connects to a sleekly designed kitchen outfitted with newer appliances and an eat-in island. Outdoors, the grounds are private and free from houses on either side. Amenities include a grassy backyard, barbecue area, and plenty of spots for al fresco dining and lounging. There’s also a two-car garage out front.
No word on where the boys will be hanging their hats next, but it won’t be at their mom’s longtime Malibu Colony spread. She sold that place last year for $11.8 million to furniture company CEO Loren Kreiss and relocated to Canada, where she now lives at her grandmother’s former property on Vancouver Island.
Cooper Mount of The Agency served as the listing agent; Brooke Rippner and Valerie Fitzgerald of Coldwell Banker Realty repped the buyer.
