When it comes to his popular “Max Out Your Life” school of thought, Ed Mylett apparently practices what he preaches.

Originally listed for $35 million, this particular Orange County home has just had its listing price slashed to a speck under $30 million; but that’s still a whopping $12 million more than the couple paid for the place nearly two years ago.

A former youth counselor, Mylett, 50, went on to become a top executive at the Georgia-based financial services marketing company World Financial Group in the early ’90s; over the decades, the California native has developed into a bestselling author, motivational speaker, and host of an interview podcast and YouTube Channel series, with an estimated net worth of around $400 million.
