Now that Cody Ko has settled into Malibu marital digs with new wife Kelsey Kreppel, it seems the popular YouTuber/podcaster no longer has any need for his architectural compound tucked away in Venice’s Silver Triangle neighborhood. Barely three years after forking over $3.8 million for the place, he’s already hoisting it up for sale with a half-million bump in price, asking $4.3 million.
Resting beyond walls and gates, the private estate is secluded amid compact yet lush grounds lined with towering bamboo hedges. Built in 2005, the gray-hued structure has four bedrooms and an equal number of baths in just over 3,900 square feet of three-level living space boasting seamless indoor/outdoor environs. There’s also a detached two-car garage, which is topped by a guest apartment/studio space with its own bath, walk-in closet and kitchenette.
Especially standing out on the main level is a concrete-clad great room hosting a family room accented by a linear fireplace embedded within a decorative accent wall and floor-to-ceiling glass doors spilling outside. An adjacent dining area abuts the sleekly designed kitchen, which is outfitted with custom cabinetry, a subway-tile backsplash, an eat-in island and top-tier stainless appliances; and two bedrooms on the second level share a bath.
The entire top level is devoted to a deluxe master retreat, which displays a fireplace, covered balcony, large walk-in closet, and spa-like bath equipped with dual vanities, an oval soaking tub topped by a skylight and a glass-encased shower. Elsewhere on the grassy lot are several patios ideal for al fresco lounging and entertaining, along with a water feature, an outdoor shower and herb garden. No word on whether the doggie in the window is included in the sale of the house, though!
Born in Canada, Ko is probably best known for co-hosting the award-winning “Tiny Meat Gang” podcast with longtime friend Noel Miller, while L.A. native Kreppel is a former preschool teacher who now vlogs about fashion, owns her own fashion and accessories line, and hosts the “Circle Time” podcast. The pair — who collaborate on certain series like “Couples Cringe” — were wed in February 2023, and maintain a swank Malibu residence they picked up in late 2021 for $3.7 million.
