The past few weeks have been somewhat of a whirlwind for Tallulah Willis. Not only did the youngest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore become engaged to her filmmaker boyfriend Dillon Buss — with a massive new emerald-cut ring to prove it, via her popular “buuski” Instagram feed — but the 27-year-old founder of the fashion brand Wyllis and former child actress also shelled out $3.2 million to buy a fully renovated home in Los Feliz.
At the same time, Willis was busy offloading her starter cottage in Hollywood’s coveted Bronson Canyon neighborhood. Purchased in May 2017 for $1.5 million from Canadian actress Jessalyn Gilsig, the stylishly revamped Spanish-style home just sold for about $2 million, records reveal.
Originally built in 1947, Willis’ new pad — a modern-style dwelling renovated in ’75 for its former gallery proprieter owners by local architect Jeff Guga — comes complete with 3,000-plus square feet of minimalist living space on three levels highlighted by a palette of white walls and blond hardwood flooring complemented by the original casement windows.
A bright red door leads the way into airy interiors, where a combined living/dining area greets with built-in bookshelves and an expansive picture window overlooking the private backyard. Steps lead up to a gourmet, galley-style kitchen outfitted with an oversized breakfast table boasting built-in benches, marble countertops, stainless appliances and sliding glass doors that lead to a floating deck overlooking the grounds. There’s also a den on this floor displaying a Guga-designed sofa and credenza.
Upstairs are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom offers views of downtown L.A. and the Griffith Observatory, along with a walk-in closet and en-suite bath, while the additional bedrooms share a full bath sporting colorful tile.
The lower level features a fourth bedroom and bath that could be used as a guest suite. There’s also a spacious living area adorned with Guga-designed book shelves and a desk, as well as sliding doors that lead to a tranquil patio, and a grassy backyard hosting a custom saltwater pool and spa flanked by a tall row of bamboo.
Charles Clark of Compass served as the listing agent for the property, with Kristal Moffett of Deasy Penner Podley repping Willis in the purchase.
