Michael Evans Behling is winning! Not only has he transitioned from a model into a successful actor — currently starring as high school quarterback Jordan Baker on the long-running sports drama “All American” — but he’s also a brand-new homeowner. Records show the Ohio-born, Indiana-raised 26-year old — who’s also appeared in “Empire” and “Grey’s Anatomy” — has just forked over nearly $1.7 million for an updated traditional-style property in the San Fernando Valley suburb of Woodland Hills.
Originally built back in the early 1960s, and nestled on a quiet tree-lined street, Behling’s recently acquired home is sited amid a gated parcel spanning just over a quarter-acre. Inside, four bedrooms and three baths are spread across almost 2,400 square feet of recently updated and modernized living space, which comes complete with wide-plank hardwood floors and custom wood wall designs throughout.
Separated from the sidewalk by a staircase that cuts through the middle of a grassy and gently sloped lawn, the two-story wood-paneled structure has a wide driveway and an attached two-car garage off to the side. The all-white facade has several windows and a wood front door that leads into an expansive formal living room, which features a floor-to-ceiling fireplace as a focal point, along with sliding glass doors spilling out to a patio space.
Additional highlights include a massive kitchen outfitted with custom cabinetry, stainless Fisher & Paykel and KitchenAid appliances, and dual eat-in peninsulas, plus an adjacent dining area suited for more formal gatherings. Elsewhere, the spacious master suite is decked out with a big walk-in closet and spa-like bath; and outdoors, the heavily wooded backyard hosts a large freeform pool wrapped by a concrete sundeck.
