Though it’s been barely a year since actor Michael B. Jordan doled out $12.5 million for a sleekly designed modern farmhouse-style mansion in Los Angeles, the “Creed” and “Black Panther” star is already looking to unload his place in Encino’s affluent Royal Oaks neighborhood with a nearly half-million-dollar jump in price, asking a speck under $13 million.
Built in 2021 — and boasting about $500,000 in upgraded security and air-conditioning systems added during Jordan’s tenure, per The Wall Street Journal — the gated home includes 12,300 square feet of glam contemporary living space on three levels. There also are plenty of glitzy amenities — an elevator, a 20-foot-tall pivoting front door, plush soundproof movie theater, gym/spa, temperature-controlled wine room and wet bar, just to name a few.
Especially standing out on the main level is a gourmet kitchen, which is decked out with two islands, high-end stainless appliances, a walk-in pantry and an accompanying breakfast nook, along with an adjoining family room displaying a linear fireplace and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors spilling outside. Elsewhere are formal living/dining rooms, along with a wood-clad office lined with bookshelves.
Eight bedrooms include an upstairs master retreat outfitted with a fireplace and private balcony, plus dual walk-in closets and baths; and outdoors, the half-acre grounds are highlighted by a flat and grassy backyard featuring a pool and spa, fire-pit area, barbecue and bar setup, cabana warmed by a fireplace, two-story guesthouse and separate structure currently used for massages. There’s also a spacious motorcourt and an attached two-car garage out front.
In addition to the Encino mansion, the 35-year-old California native also maintains a modest Sherman Oaks house he picked up in 2015 for $1.7 million. He recently sold the Hollywood Hills bachelor pad he purchased from TV host Daisy Fuentes back in late 2019 for $7 million.
