She has not taken on an acting role since 2018, but former “The King of Queens” and “Kevin Can Wait” star Leah Remini is hardly sitting around twiddling her manicured thumbs.
She won a couple of Emmys for the explosive docuseries “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” (2017-2019), about her and others’ experiences being in and getting out of the Church of Scientology, she served as a co-host on the most recent season of “So You Think You Can Dance,” and she hosts the “People Puzzler” game show. Plus, she’s enrolled in a Liberal Arts undergraduate program at New York University. (Remini wrote on Twitter earlier this year that growing up in a cult left her with only an 8th-grade education. She went on to elaborate about her choice to get a college degree at this point of her life, “This is one of the last chunks of my life that I am taking back for myself from Scientology.”)
One might think with all that hullabaloo she wouldn’t want to further upset the apple cart by rocking the real estate boat, too. However, along with every other thing she has going on, Remini wants to pack up and sell her long-time home that’s nestled into the sylvan (and notoriously celebrified) Fryman Canyon area of L.A.’s Studio City. Newly listed at a hair under $13 million, Remini and her husband, actor Angelo Pagán, hope to triple the $3.75 million that was paid for the privately situated mansion back in early 2003.

Public listings show only one interior image of the 10,300-square-foot home but marketing materials describe it as a “meticulously refined traditional residence” with six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, three fireplaces, and garage parking for up to five cars. Other highlights include a “grand entry,” “dual parlors,” and a “sunken formal living room.” A main floor bedroom is suitable for guest or staff, while the five upstairs bedrooms include a “massive primary suite” complete with private sitting room, view of the San Gabriel Mountains, and dual bathrooms and closets.
The manicured, tree-ringed grounds offer a detached professional dance studio, numerous patios, and a swathe of lawn that rolls gently down to a swimming pool and spa set against a wall of greenery that ensures skinny dip-style privacy.
