A few months ago, Kumail Nanjiani and Emily Gordon were reported to be house-hunting in the trendy Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. We don’t know if the actor, comedian and screenwriter — probably best known for his role as Dinesh in the HBO comedy series “Silicon Valley” — and his longtime writer/podcaster wife ever pulled the plug and settled into new digs. But they did just hoist their Spanish-style mini-compound in Los Feliz onto the rental market for $9,500 per month.

Purchased by the Hollywood couple for just over $1.1 million more than eight years ago, back in spring 2014, the 1920s-era property has since been given a complete makeover by Karen Vidal and Beverly Klein of Vidal Design Collaborative, complete with all-new paint, wallpaper, light fixtures and more. Up for grabs is a main house featuring two bedrooms and three baths in 1,400 square feet of single-level living space, plus a detached one-bedroom guesthouse with its own kitchenette and bath.
