Back in September, Jameela Jamil and James Blake sold off their impressive Mount Olympus, Los Angeles home for $4.8 million. Now the outspoken actress and her longtime partner James Blake have turned around and picked up an even pricier residence elsewhere in the Hollywood Hills.
Records show the England-born couple — she best known for her roles in “The Good Place,” “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” and most recently, “Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin,” and he a Grammy-winning musician — doled out $6.4 million for the spacious villa, which features 7,000 square feet filtered throughout a whopping four levels of living space accessible via an elevator.
Built in 1989, but given a makeover by Dalinger Designs since then, the stucco and terracotta-roof structure is described in the listing as a “contemporary Mediterranean compound with earthy flair,” and features five bedrooms and seven baths. Walls of glass spanning the entire rear of the house overlook city lights and canyon views.
Besides the wood-paneled kitchen, which comes outfitted with an eat-in island and high-end stainless appliances, the main living area also has an adjoining dining area and fireplace-equipped living with pocketing glass doors spilling out to a covered balcony. Elsewhere is an expansive master retreat sporting a wet bar, fireside seating area, balcony, walk-in closet, and luxe bath equipped with dual vanities, a soaking tub and shower.
On the lower level, amenities include a movie theater, an office, and a wellness center boasting a sauna and gym; and outdoors, the backyard hosts an indoor/outdoor bar, fire-pit and barbecue setup, pool and spa, and lounge area that could easily be converted into a studio space. Topping it all off: smart-home automation and surveillance systems, as well as a gated motorcourt and three-car garage.
In addition to their new living quarters in Hollywood Hills, Jamil and Blake also still own a Georgia property — in the Fayetteville suburb of Atlanta, acquired earlier this year for $600,000.
