Diego Boneta has quietly scooped up a stylish Spanish-style estate in L.A.’s West Hollywood neighborhood. Records show the 31-year-old Mexican actor, singer and producer — who’s currently starring in HBO’s upcoming “Father of the Bride” movie, and recently signed an overall deal with Prime Video and his production company Three Amigos — has paid nearly $4 million for the place in an off-market deal, before it even had a chance to hit the open market.
Originally built back in the 1920s, and described in the listing as a “refined modern Spanish,” Boneta’s newly acquired residence is sited on a compact 0.11-acre parcel of land. Inside, three bedrooms and four baths are spread across a little more than 2,200 square feet of living space recently updated and modernized by European designer Luca Colombo, which comes complete with wide-plank hardwood floors, high wood-beam ceilings and built-in speakers throughout.
Separated from the sidewalk by a hedge-topped wall and grassy lawn, the creamy-hued stucco and terracotta-roof structure has a brick-paved driveway and one-car garage off to the side. A gated wood door flows into a private courtyard boasting a lounge area with fire-pit and French doors leading into a formal living room hosting a floor-to-ceiling marble fireplace as its focal point.
Additional main-level highlights include a gourmet kitchen outfitted with an eat-in island, quartz countertops, sleek black Poliform cabinetry and high-end Miele appliances that connects to a dining area sporting a wet bar — both areas of which feature French doors spilling out to the backyard; and elsewhere on the lower level are two bedroom suites.
A wrapping staircase heads upstairs, where a luxe master retreat occupying the entire floor is decked out with a windowed sitting nook, balcony with treetop views and custom walk-in closet, as well as a spa-inspired bath holding dual vanities, a large oval soaking tub and glass-encased shower.
As for the fully fenced and mostly decked backyard, expect to find a waterfall-equipped pool flanked by a lounge area ideal for al fresco entertaining with built-in seating surrounding a gas fire-pit and barbecue.
