‘This is Us’ Star Chrissy Metz Upgrades to Ritzy Bell Canyon Villa

Back in 2018, Chrissy Metz forked out $1.6 million for a mostly nondescript ranch house in the San Fernando Valley’s ultra-suburban Tarzana neighborhood. After three years, the “This Is Us” actress is upgrading from that starter home in a big way, doling out $3.5 million for a striking mansion on 2+ acres in prestigious Bell Canyon, a guard-gated community adjacent to Woodland Hills and lying due north of Calabasas.

Due to its secluded nature yet still-close proximity to Hollywood, Bell Canyon has been home to a long list of celebrities. Current residents include Joe Rogan, Niecy Nash, Lil Uzi Vert, Trey Songz and Alyssa Milano.

Built in 2006, Metz’s new stucco-clad and turreted villa lords over a long private driveway that connects to a brick motorcourt and three-car garage. Inside, nearly 6,000 square feet of luxe living space includes five bedrooms and six baths, plus a large bonus space that could be easily converted into a movie theater, gym or playroom.

Best-known for her role as Kate Pearson on NBC’s award-winning “This is Us,” the Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated star also has appeared in the films “Breakthrough” and “Sierra Burgess is a Loser.” And Metz, who also moonlights as a singer-songwriter,  recently made her musical debut at the 2019 ACMs with her Oscar-nominated song “I’m Standing With You” from the “Breakthrough” film soundtrack; upcoming projects include a country music album.
