Big Daddy is fine-tuning his extensive real estate portfolio! Through the years, Adam Sandler has spent millions buying up prime properties in locales like Florida, Massachusetts and Southern California. Now the 56-year-old comedian/actor has added to his collection yet again, with records showing he doled out $4.1 million for a traditional ranch-style house in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Including his newly acquired residence, Sandler owns well over $40 million worth of luxury real estate in the L.A. area alone. The “Hustle” star and his longtime wife Jackie lay claim to three luxury condos: one in the celeb-studded Sierra Towers building near West Hollywood, one in Brentwood and the third in Calabasas, plus an oceanfront Malibu vacation home. Their main residence, however, remains a large Pacific Palisades estate once owned by Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
As for Sandler’s latest acquisition, the three-bedroom, two-bath structure was built back in the late 1940s and has since been remodeled, replete with an updated kitchen and baths. Per the listing, the new owner can “move right in or reimagine and develop your dream home” — as the sale included plans for a 7,600-square-foot, two-story house with a basement.
Nestled amid a secluded cul-de-sac, on a corner lot spanning a little less than a quarter-acre of land, the white wood-shingled structure displays a row of windows lined with blue shutters. A grassy lawn is separated from the street out front by a sidewalk, and an attached two-car garage can be found tucked away off to the side of the house.
Once inside the matching blue front door, 1,840 square feet of living space is marked by a spacious living room boasting a white fireplace with a black brick surround, plus a formal dining area sporting a chandelier and an all-white kitchen outfitted with stainless appliances and a door that opens to a laundry room that leads outside.
There’s also a large primary bedroom sporting a bath equipped with dual vanities, a tub and separate shower; and outdoors, the fenced and grassy backyard hosts a covered patio sporting a brick-clad fireplace.
