It’s been barely a year since Lindsey Vonn traded in the slopes for a coastal Florida spread on Miami Beach’s exclusive guard-gated Normandy Shores island, directly overlooking a canal. Now the retired alpine skiier — who won an astounding 82 World Cup victories during her lengthy career — and boyfriend Diego Osorio, an actor and founder of premium Lobos 1707 tequila brand, are returning the sleek contemporary residence to the market, asking exactly $6 million.
Listing agents Bill Hernandez and Bryan Sereny of Douglas Elliman declined to comment on the seller or the property, which rests on a gated parcel spanning a quarter-acre, but marketing materials show the place has coveted amenities like an all-new wine cellar and a dock that can easily accommodate a 48-foot yacht.
Built in the mid-1950s, but extensively renovated from top to bottom in 2021, the four-bedroom, five-bath house contains just over 3,000 square feet of single-level living space adorned throughout with a mix of hardwood and Italian Porcelanosa tile floors, custom light fixtures and window coverings.
Double front doors open into an entrance foyer flanked by a mauve-colored powder room. From there, a massive great room is highlighted by a sitting room that connects to an eat-in kitchen outfitted with high-end stainless appliances, and a dining area flows to a living room sporting sliding glass doors spilling out to an expansive lanai hosting a barbecue station and fire-pit.
Tucked away into the corners are the bedrooms, which include a hardwood-clad master retreat that comes complete with access to the backyard, a huge walk-in closet, and snazzy ebony-tiled bath equipped with dual vanities, a soaking tub and glass-encased shower. Outdoors, the tropical-inspired grounds also include a lengthy pool surrounded by a sundeck, along with a big paved motorcourt that has plenty of room for parking.
In addition to her for-sale Miami Beach property, the Hall of Fame skiier also owns a three-bedroom, five-bath home in the Coldwater Canyon area of Beverly Hills that she paid $3.4 million for in early 2021, shortly after splitting with hockey star P.K. Subban.
