It’s off to the suburban races for Emmy-winning actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood. The “Final Destination 5” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” star and her husband, CAA talent agent Elan Ruspoli, have plunked down an impressive $4.5 million for an estate in the family-friendly neighborhood of Westlake Village, Calif., more than an hour by car northwest of Downtown Los Angeles.
Since the house was “sold before processing,” according to the listing, pictures and details remain notably scant. But it’s publicly known that the 2004 structure was recently renovated and includes just over 7,000 square feet of mansion-sized living space. Located in a quiet golf course community, the house is notably private — completely out of view from the public road behind a long, gated driveway accessed via a quaint wooden bridge.
The house sits on about an acre of verdantly landscaped land, complete with mature palms, emerald green lawns, and a resort-quality pool/patio area. As a bonus, the $4.5 million purchase price also included an adjacent vacant property that includes another acre of land, meaning the couple could either build their new dream home or potentially flip the lot to a developer.
Wood, 33, is likely best-known for her longtime stint as heiress Steffy Forster on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” a plum role for which she scored a Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Lead Actress in a drama series. She and Ruspoli have been married since 2018.
Besides their new Westlake Village digs, Wood and Ruspoli also still own their L.A. starter house — a strikingly modern residence in the far more centrally located Hollywood Hills neighborhood. Initially put up for sale in October with a $2.1 million pricetag, the ask has since dropped to just under $1.9 million. Deeds show the blocky home was acquired by Ruspoli in 2016 for about $1.5 million.
