Behind gates on a private promontory of more than 2.5 acres with panoramic 180-degree views that sweep across almost the entirety of the San Fernando Valley, the sprawling property includes two substantial residences, the larger of which sits high above a lagoon-style swimming pool crossed by a bridge and includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms and huge stone terraces. The second residence, described in marketing details as a “European Villa,” provides another three bedrooms and three bathrooms and the compound’s variety of outbuildings include a detached three car garage, a charming stone cottage suitable as a wine cellar and tasting room and a couple of small studios located along stone pathway that winds through the property. Listing details indicate that permits are pending on an extensive renovation and addition designed by renowned architect Mark Rios of Rios Clementi Hale Studios.
Longoria, married for the third time in 2016 to Mexican media mogul José “Pepe” Bastón, president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin American, has already purchased another home in Los Angeles, a mansion in Beverly Hills for which she coughed up $13.5 million. The just shy of 1.5-acre estate is sequestered down a private lane above ritzy Benedict Canyon and includes a freshly renovated 11,000-plus-square-foot contemporary mansion with six family bedrooms, two staff bedrooms and a total of 8 full and 2 half bathrooms. There are several living and family rooms, one of them on the second floor, plus a media room, an office with private terrace, a formal dining room and a chef’s kitchen plus a separate catering kitchen. Custom-lit and protected by a comprehensive security system, the resort-style grounds incorporate a large motor court and four car attached garage, a swimming pool and spa surrounded by canyon and city view terracing, a large pool house with bathroom, an outdoor kitchen and a lighted tennis court.

Her current holdings include a not quite 3,400-square-foot home in an upscale gated development on the outskirts of Austin, Texas, she bought in 2005 for an unrecorded amount, a three-story mansion of more than 8,500-square-feet in the historic Hollywood Dell neighborhood in the foothills above Hollywood she picked up in 2006 for $3.6 million and a ranch-style residence squirreled down a gated drive just above Malibu’s Zuma Beach she acquired in 2008 for $2.5 million.
