Cheyenne Jackson, one of the few but growing number of out gay actors in Hollywood, listed his modestly sized home near the top of L.A.’s Nichols Canyon with an asking price of $2.088 million. The chisel-chinned “Glee” and “American Horror Story” actor, who will appear next year in the TV series “American Woman,” based on the life of former child actor turned “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards, purchased the stylishly updated, “eclectic, retro” 1950s ranch house in February 2015, shortly after he married second husband Jason Landau, for $1.59 million. Set privately behind a high fence with an electronic driveway gate that opens to a two-car car port and off-street parking for half of a dozen more cars, the single-level residence has three bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,767-square-feet.
Ebony-stained hardwood floors run throughout interconnected living spaces that include a small but proper entrance hall and a cozily proportioned living room with barrel-vaulted ceiling, an entire wall of custom built-in floor-to-ceiling book shelves and a muscular, minimalist fireplace.
