Beyonce is the Most Beautiful! – People Magazine

Its official, Beyonce is named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman for 2012!

According to People magazine, pop sensation Beyonce, married to rap mogul Jay-Z, is at the top of the “World’s Most Beautiful” list featured in a special double issue.

Beyonce had this to say: “I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this Earth.”

It seems that for Beyonce, the joy of motherhood has already made her feel like the world’s most beautiful woman, with the birth of the mega-couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, in January.

Blue Ivy Is Definitely Luckier Than Us

Did you think that Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby was going to have a normal, ordinary life like you and I had when we were little?  Did you think Bey was going to wipe little Blue Ivy’s poopy butt and catch dripping boogers and wipe the spit-up and do all that other fun stuff that mothers get to do with their newborns?

LOL!

You had to know that the queen diva was going to get some MAJOR help with her baby, and now Perez Hilton is saying that Beyonce has hired SIX NANNIES to help her out.  That’s SIX—as in, not one, two, three, four, or five.  SIX.  S-I-X, SIX!!!!!!!

This wasn’t enough for Dirt, so we called one of our insiders to get the deets.  According to our source, one nanny is responsible for keeping the left butt cheek clean; one the right; one is on booger control; one stands with a bowl under Blue’s chin in case she spits up; one’s to play with her when she gets bored; and one is responsible for looking her in the eye every ten minutes and reminding her that her mother is better than everyone else.

Perez’s source claims that little Blue’s diaper is changed almost every hour, which is great, if you ask me.  Have you spent any time around babies?  Food doesn’t even have to touch their lips before it’s shooting out the other end.

Lastly, he reports that Jay-Z is dropping massive coin on his baby, buying her diamond earrings, a platinum bracelet, and a $600,000 gold rocking horse that she’ll use once to drool on before getting bored and moving on to the next ridiculously priced toy.

Wow.  Sooo…Blue Ivy is definitely luckier than us, right?  Right.  My life is garbage.

Until next time…

Victoria Beckham’s Trashy Walk Wrecks Her Feet

She loves to teeter around in high heels, even when pregnant or holding her baby.  We all know Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham can’t seem to buy enough high heels.

And we’ve seen other celebs do the same when pregnant, notably Beyonce and Kate Hudson.  Good lord, Rihanna strutting a stage in high heels…

Now a study by Austrialian scientists shows that wearing a shoe with a two-inch-or-above heel for 40 hours per week causes the wearer to change the way she walks, and not for the bettah, even when she’s wearing flats.

The New York Times (quoted in the Daily Mail) says, “Heel wearers took shorter, more aggressive steps, putting more pressure on calf muscles.”  Note again that this is true even when the heel-wearer switches to FLATS!  The study concludes that walking in heels for 40 hours per week causes the woman’s legs and feet to adapt to walking that way.

So, after enough heel-walking, you look like a compete tool in flats–just mincing along with this strange gait ‘cause your feet still think they’re in heels.  Nice.

The article goes on: “The results suggest…that after only two years, heel wearers are more likely to suffer from muscle fatigue and strain injuries.”  This means that celebs like Victoria Beckham, Beyonce, Rihanna, and the Kardashians have been willing to risk leg damage for the short-term thrill of looking sexy!  What will they try next, breast implants?  Oh…

The experts recommend wearing heels only one or two days per week and giving your feet a rest in between.  If you want to read about the study, click here.

Drat.  And one of our all-time fav country songs is “Red High Heels.”  It may not do it for us anymore.  Thanks, scientists, for bringing such joy to our day.  We know, we know–yer juss trying to help.  But as commenters have pointed out, high heels do make your legs and behind look fantastic.

Paging Jimmy Choo.  Get Manolo Blahnik on the line too.  And book the next flight to Australia!  It may not be too late to stomp this theory to pieces with another well-funded study.

Jessica Alba Offers Helpful Advice To Beyonce

With two happy and healthy daughters, Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren obviously know what they’re doing.  Jessica has proven to be a super down-to-earth and hands-on mom—something that so many Hollywood mothers are lacking.  So you can understand why I’m such a huge fan.

And now gorgeous mama Jessica Alba is offering some helpful advice to Beyonce.  You all know that the media are always fighting to get the first glimpse of a famous newborn, and Beyonce and Jay-Z are no different.  In fact, things might be even crazier for this power couple.  Alba suggested that Bey and Jay do was she and Cash did and sell the photos.  According to the Huffington Post, she told CNN:

“For our family, we just wanted to control the experience.  We put the money that the picture made into a bank account for Honor to do whatever she wants to do with.  It’s her picture, it’s her birth, and we didn’t want it to be like a weird thing when we were walking out of the house with her for the first time.  If there’s a price tag on your child — which is so bizarre — people will go to crazy lengths.  We wanted to avoid the hysteria.”

Makes sense!  And that’s awesome that they gave the money to Honor; they have a good point—it IS her picture.  And if their photos sold to OK! magazine for the reported $1.5 million the HuffPost claims they did, then WOW.

But don’t think Jess was trying to be pushy.  She added, “To each his own. The biggest thing is having a healthy baby …. I’m sure Beyonce will make the best decision for her family.”

Rock on, pretty lady.  I think Alba has a great idea; and she’s right!  The photogs are going to get a picture no matter what.  You might as well be in control of the sitch and make bank off the photos while you’re at it.  Giving the money to your child for his/her future is excellent, or donating it to charity is always a nice idea.  It’s not like Beyonce or her fam need the money anyway!

Congrats again to the proud new parents.  xoxo
