Camila Alves “Ultimatum-ed” Matthew McConaughey, Baby Factory Was Closing Its Doors
When you want him to put a ring on it, ladies, there are many ways to do it. We salute Camila Alves for pulling ultimatum #4 out of the hopper, which can only work if you already have at least one kid with a man and he wants more. Matthew McConaughey, who has an impossible name to spell and therefore made our engagement unthinkable, wants a big fam, and he already has two kids with Camila–Levi, 3, and Vida, 2.
So she put it to the dude she’s been with for five years: Marry me or no more pregnancies! It worked splendidly and Matt proposed over the Christmas holiday. You see, it’s that simple. Camila Alves “ultimatum-ed” Matthew McConaughey that the baby factory was closing its doors.
The National Enquirer is reporting that while Cam, 29, would be happy to have one more child, Matthew, 42, is really hoping for a larger brood and wants at least two more. When she hit him with the ultimatum, he realized that marriage is important to her and popped the question. A friend says, “They’re planning a beach wedding in the spring and hoping to get pregnant on or before their honeymoon.”
As we said, this is only one of several ultimatums you can use when the dating has gone on for too long and the proposal has not happened. We still like the simplicity of ultimatum #1, which is, “No more sex till we get engaged,” or #2, “We’re not living together till we’re engaged.” But Camila was shrewd enuf to figger out her man and know that more babies were the ultimate bargaining chip.
Of course there’s always #3, “My mother says you’re too much of a loser to consider marrying but I told her I’d give you a chance,” but it’s way risky and can backfire if your man says, “Your mother’s right as usual.”
